Staff Member Dies in Tragic Accident

On Saturday the thirteenth of November; colleague, teacher, coach, friend, father, and husband Mr. Julian passed away in a tragic accident while piloting a plane to Beaver Island. There were 5 people on the plane with only one survivor.

Mr. Julian was a beloved member of the EMS family and his loss has already greatly impacted the school. Students and teachers alike are mourning this tragedy together and remembering his legacy. 

Mr. Julian was a 6th and 7th grade social studies teacher at EMS and previously taught a business elective a while back. Mr. Julian was a passionate teacher, but he loved his family even more. He was humble and never trying to be the center of attention. 

Now there is a void where Mr. Julian should be, and he is deeply missed. 

Currently, the school is sending prayers and well wishes to his family.
