2020 Presidential Election
November 4, 2020
Yesterday was election day and unlike most years, we don’t have the results yet. The Associated Press has incumbent Donald Trump at 213 and former vice president Joe Biden at 238 when this story was written. At that time, Michigan was 49.4% for Trump, which is 2,394,575 people. Biden had 2,384,163 people, 49.1%, making Michigan a red state.
To win the election, each candidate needs 270 delegates, so currently, Biden is in the lead, but Trump could very quickly take the lead. At this point in time, nothing is for sure.
Please stay tuned for more follow ups on this story and keep your eyes peeled for other stories about the election.
