President Trump Gets COVID

COVID-19 has been a problem since it started in December. It has infected famous celebrities including, but not limited to PINK, Tom Hanks, and Neil Patrick Harris; famous athletes, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (who doubles as an actor), Kevin Durant, and Usain Bolt. Boris Johnson and Prince Charles have also gotten COVID-19 (the prime minister of the UK and Prince of Wales). Now it has infected the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Late Thursday night, Trump had said that he was getting tested and just past 1:00 in the morning on Friday, he tweeted, “Tonight @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” This may be hard because the president is in a higher risk group, being over 60 and obese.

What does this mean for his campaign? What does it mean for Biden, who was 12 feet away from him at a debate for multiple hours? Keep an eye out for follow up stories on this!
